Last Double Rainbow event was a real surprise but I'm happy we had it because I was able to reach Rank 1 Enchanting in a short span of time and least amount of resources.  But I wouldn't have done it without the help of a lot of people and most importantly, Sylpi, she sacrificed her Double Rainbow time to help me train.  

So how did I train my enchanting that fast? The technique we used isn't new, it is most commonly used during Double Rainbow as it requires vast amount of resources.  First, Sylpi and I stack piled on Tailoring Kits that we enchant from below rank F to 8, we filled an account full of Tailoring Kits. Then we also stack piled on a lots of blue herbs and holy water.  Generally, from rank F to rank 8, we ran alby plus some alby runners to get enchant scrolls, we enchant them and stored to alt.  At rank 8, we don't want to waste the es that results from rank 8 as this is extract only rank.  So before we started rank 8, we made sure we had enough materials to finish this rank. 

At rank 8, burning success rate is 58% only, that is using Finest firewood and rank 8 campfire.  Rank 8 Enchanting has the following requirements:

• Get an enchant Scroll from enchant burning -- 0.1 exp -- 1000 count -- 100%Total
• Get a Magic Powder from enchant burning -- 0.05 exp -- 800 count -- 40% Total

It is always likely that you will get a Magic powder from burning so you can safely assume that the second requirements will be met first before the first requirements.

With that in mind, we now need 60% from the first requirements which is 600 burns, 300 if destiny, 150 if double rainbow+destiny.  Since success rate is only 58%, you need more or less double the requirements based on the above assumptions. Assuming DR+Destiny, that is 150 x 2 or 300.  So it means we will need at least :

• 30 stacks of blue herb,
• 30 stacks of holy water
• 300 enchanted tailoring kits

The above is of course just an estimate so it is always best to have more.  Below is how I prepared for enchant extraction:

After Rank 8, we will have no requirements for extraction up to Rank 1. Which means, we can now concentrate all our resources and perform enchant-extract alternately until we use up all of your tailoring kits from fails.  From Rank 7 to Rank 1, I used up:

• Approximately 270 stacks of Holy Water
  • 218 came from Sylpi
  • 40 from stalls and mailed
  • 12 from my personal stash
• 270 stack of blue herbs are needed to pair up with the Holy Water
• 3 Bank full and 2 alt inventory full of tailoring kits
  • 6x10 = 60 x 2 = 120
  • 12x8 =  96 x 3 = 288
  • 288 + 120 = 408 tailoring kits

However, I failed to note how many enchants I got from alby runners which also helped in maintaining the number of tailoring kits to extract.  

The 270 stacks of blue herbs is not hard to gather with the help of homestead full of blue herbs and Rank 1 Herbalism plus Harvest Song Master and a Partner, but 270 holy water is another story. Sylpi used 3 accounts to perform holy water church part-time job at Kristell, 2 accounts with 3 character and 1 account with 4 characters for a total of 10 characters performing part-time job every 36 mins or 1 game time.  In-between part-time jobs, she runs around with her maid to harvest potatoes, eggs and apples then back to Kristell to trade her alts before part-time job starts again.  She did all this during double rainbow which is why I can never thank her enough for the selfless support she gave me.  I guess it is not entirely for me, but for the whole guild as well so we can finally have at least one r1 enchant extractor on our guild.

SEAL YOUR EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENTS OR YOU MIGHT ACCIDENTALLY ENCHANT THEM WITH A NOOB ENCHANT!!!!
